Horrible CS, faulty systems, plan to lose your account
Snapchat has absolutely no regard for its users, nor does it have any interest in solving issues. I had to change my phone number a number of months ago. They use an archaic method of 2 factor authentication and claim they cannot restore your account if you lose your phone or get a new number. How is this possible in 2017?!?
Even though I made all changes according to their instructions, making my new number known in the system- when I recently got a new phone I tried to login and it had my OLD PHONE NUMBER ! This means.. according to them I CANNOT ACCESS MY ACCOUNT?!?!
I am absolutely disgusted - I have friends and family in military who ONLY have that username of mine.. AND I could only talk to them via that format of communication. This means now, I cannot talk to them at all.. and they may be sending me messages but I wouldnt know because Snapchat refuses to help even though I did nothing wrong!
Snapchat is a disgusting excuse for a company that needs to bring itself into the 21st century. Dont offer 2 factor if you cant help people when your system screws up!
