HELPP!!!!

Snapchat is my favorite app to use!! But recently I had lost my most recent memories and I was super upset about it... But I got over it kind of... But then another crazy thing happens almost every few seconds my snap crashes I cant even type a sentence or send streaks without it glitching out. My friends dont seem to have that problem but I do. Pls If its just an update that Snapchat needs pls do it ASAP ??I really miss the old Snapchat I had. And if the only solution is to make a new account...It might be tough for me and the streaks I have??.
But yeah I hope my Favorite app works again...?..
