Why does my audio not work!!!!!

Sooo idk what is wrong but when I record a video on my Snapchat it doesnt record audio. ONLY thing I hear is low static. ?. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled the app, checked all settings, everything is set correctly. When I record a video on any other app audio works fine.... please help!!!!!
