My problem..

Im not here to discuss about snapchat but here to discuss the problem I have with the word fridge and refrigerator. Why is there a D in the word fridge and it sounds like there is no D, now in refrigerator there sounds like a D is in there but in cruel reality there is actually not D you in the word refrigerator.
