Deleted Memories

Recently instead of taking pictures with my phone Ive been using Snapchat and just saving them to my memories. A week ago I got a new phone and when I downloaded Snapchat all of my memories where gone for the last couple of months. Ive emailed Snapchat and they have not replied to me and when I searched up other people with the same problem they said it was because I didnt back-up my memories but I did back-up all of my memories to the date I got my new phone. Would not recommend if you are looking for something to take pictures and save them without worrying about them getting deleted later.
