Crashes all the time. iPhone 6, iOS 10.2

Snapchat started crashing two or three updates ago forcing my iPhone 6 to respring. When this occurs it seems like Snapchat is trying to access the camera (for the main app landing screen). But it doesnt succeed doing so, instead the iPhone resprings... I dont have to re-enter my sim-pin or anything, so it doesnt seem to be a real reboot.

Also there are heaving battery drops occurring while using Snapchat- obviously in the times the main screen is able to load the camera. My battery drops 20% in 2 seconds.

Get it together please!!
